      Hardware Instructions
      Step 1:
Lamps are intended to be mounted with the vehicle level and unloaded. Ensured that the beam does not blind upcoming vehicles by rotating lens/reflector 180° with the word “TOP” to its proper orientation. Note: As regulation varies worldwide, users are responsible to check compliance.

      Step 2:
Select your mounting option (For Mazda Miata we suggest the use of a combination of methods by using the adhesive tape plus the mounting machine screws.)

      Step 3:
Note: Adhesive tape method installation required a temperature greater than 50°F(10°C).Clean mounting surface and bracket with a 50/50 rubbing alcohol solution, then dry with a clean cloth.

      Step 4:
Select location parallel to roadway then mark bumper desired location for bracket. Remove mounting brackets from lights if already assembled. Remove backing paper on one side of each tape and center on bottom of each bracket. Press firmly for several minutes.

      Step 5:
Drill 1/8 (3.2mm) diameter hole through bracket round holes. Remove backing paper and press each bracket into selected mounting location. Screw in the sheet metal screws to maximize bonding strength.

      Wiring Instructions
      Step 6:
Disconnect the battery to avoid electrical shock.
Note: This may disrupt vehicle electrical devices such as radio or alarms so check vehicles owner manual before disconnecting the battery.

      Step 7:
Connect the black wire on one lamp (A) to “Y” connector (B) on the black ground wire (C). Connect the second lamp black wire (D) to the female terminal (E) of the black lamp wire (F) and then plug the other end into the remaining opening to the “Y” connector (B). Attach the black ground wire (C) to any metal ground under the bumper/vehicle using the small sheet metal screw supplied.

      Step 8:
Connect the red wire (G) of one of the lamp to “Y” connector (H) on the wire lamp power wire (I). Connect the second lamp red wire (J) to the female terminal (K) of the short red lamp power wire (L) and then plug the other end to the into the remaining opening of “Y” connector (H).

      Step 9:
Mount the switch (M) under the dash within easy reach of the driver. Lead the other end of the white lamp power wire (I) through the firewall by making an “X” incision on the rubber boot under the clutch fluid reservoir. Then connect to the center terminal of the switch.

      Step 10:
Connect the ground switch wire (N) to the switch and to the metal grounding point under the dash. Connect the red power supply wire (O) with the 15-amp safety fuse to the remaining switch terminal and the other end to the male accessory power supply in the engine compartment. (On most Miata this can be found encapsulated on a “blue” housing behind/near the driver side head light.) Verify that all connector covers are in place. Confirm that all wiring is as shown and well grounded, then reconnect the battery.
