A: No, Acrylic comes from natural gas and is completely inert when in its solid form. We only use domestic (American-made) acrylic that do NOT yellow in the sunlight. There are three other clear plastics that do yellow in the sun and can be mistaken with acrylic - Styrene, PETG, and Polycarbonate. They have their respective qualities and trade-offs. (Factoid: think about the protective canopies and bubbles in the World War II bombers - they are still clear after 50 years in the sun! Acrylic) Q: Are the mounting brackets available in any other colors? A: No, Ryan-Performance's exclusive custom brackets are only available in an elegant anodized satin black finish. Q: Is the Windjammer Sport available in any other colors? A: Yes! We have three (3) different colors available that we keep in stock at all the time, Clear, Green Edge and Dark Gray. Q: What about a color different from those featured on your web-site? A: Acrylic comes in dozens of colors, not all of them available in cast acrylic.
